This is a good way to use up any extra fragapane! I came up with this recipe when I had a lot of extra from a cooking class. Here is the recipe!
About 1 cup almond fragapane
Sliced almonds optional
Turn the oven to 375 degrees. Cover a baking tray with parchment paper. Take your fragapane , into about 12 balls. Sprinkle them with sliced almonds if using, and put them in the oven for about 12-15 min. Take them out of the oven when the battens are turning brown. Enjoy!
