White peach breakfast oat crisp

This is an amazing and quick recipe to use up peaches or nectarines, I used white peaches but any similar fruit will work! I love that crispy top and juicy bottom! This is one of my favorite breakfast meals! It only uses 2 peaches! So you can save the rest to eat! I like to broil it for a few minutes because it gives it this really nice crispy top! I hope you enjoy this! Recipe is below!

1 1/2 cups of oats

2 cups flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

1/3 cup of butter cubed

1/3 cup of brown sugar

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1/4 cup milk

2 peaches

Chopped almonds for the top(optional but delish!)

Combine the oats, flour, baking powder, salt, brown sugar together. Add the butter and use your fingertips to combine it until it makes a nice crumble and a little sandy. After this slice the peaches and put them in a greased small baking dish. Put the oven to 400 degrees. To the dry mixture, add the vanilla and milk and combine until just a little sticky. Spoon the mixture on top of the peaches and spread evenly. Add the chopped almonds and put in the oven at 400 degrees for about 15-20 minutes, until the top is not brown but hard. Set the oven to broil and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the top is golden brown like shown in the picture above!let cool for a few minutes and then serve immediately!
