Marinated Summer Tilapia

 



This summer treat is so amazing! It is marinated, so it has a lot of extra flavor, the fish is a nice, light, healthy meal! It goes good with a starch, I had it with herbed olive oil potatoes(separate blog post). I wanted to add lemon, but I didn’t have a lemon on me, so I used red wine vinegar, which is an amazing flavorful substitute for it. I also had leftover shallots and so I added them and they are the perfect touch for  any summer dinner. Enjoy! Happy cooking!

Instructions Checklist
  • Combine the shallots, garlic, oregano, sugar, olive oil, red wine vinegar, salt, and pepper in a gallon bag, add the tilapia, and shake around and evenly coat all the pieces. Put in the fridge for 1-2 hours.
