This is my go-to salmon glaze and flavoring, it has amazing flavor and amazing texture. I recommend this if you have a 2 pound or larger salmon because it might be to intense for a smaller salmon. I add lots of garlic to this and a great side is chard and rice! This salmon is great for a healthy and quick meal! It only takes about 30 minutes to make and about 20 of that is it in the oven. About after 15-18 minutes of being in the oven at 375 degrees, you are going to want to switch it to broil and broil the fish for about 2-3 minutes, you want the fish to be at least 145 degrees. A little hot sauce is in the recipe and it adds the perfect spice to it but it is completely optional! And if you don’t have rice vinegar than another mild vinegar will work just fine! 2 teaspoons of grated ginger 4 cloves of garlic minced(or more) A little more than an 1/8th cup of honey 2 tablespoons of soy sauce 1 table rice Vinegar 1 tablespoon sesame oil A few drops of hot sauce A pinch of freshly ground black pepper 2 pounds of salmon Combine all the ingredients in a small bowl except the salmon. Place the salmon on a foil covered baking sheet. Put the oven to 375 degrees. Spoon the mixture onto the salmon and spread evenly using a spoon. Cook for 15-18 minutes and then turn to broil and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Take the salmon out of the oven and check to make sure the temperature is 145 degrees or more. If not put it back in the oven at 375 for another few minutes checking the temperature constantly. Enjoy! |
