Cream cheese biscuits

I know that I have so many biscuits and scone recipes, but this one is my favorite! I made this today to use up the huge box of cream cheese I got from Costco that I ate with the bagels on a separate blog post. This recipe uses the cream cheese to help cook the biscuits, and this is much healthier than regular biscuits because I used less butter. I really hope you enjoy this recipe! Feel free to half it as this makes 24 biscuits!

5 cups flour

5 tablespoons baking powder

2 teaspoons salt

8 oz cream cheese cold and cut into cubes

1/2 cup butter or 1 stick cold and cut into cubes

2 cups milk

Turn the oven to 450 and line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. Combine the dry ingredients Together in a large bowl. Add the butter and cream cheese. Use your fingers to rub it into the dry mixture until it forms a corse sand. Add the milk and combine until it makes a rustic large dough mound, if it needs more milk feel free to add more! Distribute the dough into 24 equal dough balls. Place on the cookie sheets and into the oven for 12 minutes or until golden brown!
